Founded in 2006 by Brian and Nicky Winnford, Winnford Academy unites quality education with a genuine love for children. With Brian’s business expertise and Nicky’s background as a Georgia Pre-K teacher, they opened a school where every detail—from the classroom design to the curriculum—was carefully planned with children and families in mind.
In 2023, after years of dedication, former teacher and Director Joshua Potters joined the Winnfords in ownership.
Like the founders, Joshua’s journey began in the classroom, giving him a unique perspective and a personal commitment to excellence.
Winnford Academy is not a franchise. It’s a school built from the ground up, operated by the very people who greet you each morning. We are on-site daily, know our families by name, and remain invested in creating an environment where every child feels safe, supported, and ready to thrive.
